Happy Monday! We just got back Saturday afternoon from a quick stay in Austin at the South Congress Hotel (full post coming on that soon, we LOVED it!), and were supposed to be off today to Cabo for a fun few days at the Breathless Cabo by the marina. Samantha lost her passport somehow, and didn't realize until 6:30 PM that she couldn't find it, so we are going to try to rebook our trip as soon as we can. We can't wait to show you all of our trip once we make it out there!
After many of you have requested a post on this, we are fiiiinally doing one. We are kind of embarrassed to say we have lived in Dallas for over three and-a-half years, and haven’t really posted about our favorite spots before! Okay, so maybe it is kind of for good reason 😉 Honestly, we are probably bantering 90% of the time we are out in Dallas, so there’s a good chance you have seen us at one of our frequent spots in an argument, eek!
Dallas is such a FUN city.… Continue Reading
A few of y’all wanted to know some of our recommendations for Scottsdale as far as restaurants and activities. We honestly didn’t get to do that much besides workout, hike, eat, and eat some more;) BUT, we did have some GREAT food!
We didn’t include every single thing we ate, but we did share them on snapchat/insta-stories, in case y’all got to see it! In case you didn’t see the post from Friday, we stayed at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. More details on our stay in this post!
WHERE TO EAT:
see pictures below!
- Breakfast Kitchen Bar
- True Food Kitchen
- Pita Jungle
- Deseo (in our hotel)
- Shake Shack (bunless burger)
- The Greenhouse
- Chelsea’s Kitchen (in airport)
- Le Macaron (we got gelato!)
WHAT TO DO:
This past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the incredible weather, gorgeous resort grounds, and incredible food, we had an amazing time while we were there. It is only about a two-and-a half-hour flight from Dallas, and just a quick 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. We used Uber, and it was super easy and quick! What 1we loved the most was that they are a quick walk to the Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, which has tons of restaurants and shopping, which we definitely took advantage of. We ate restaurants like True Foods Kitchen, Breakfast Kitchen (their pancakes are AMAZING), and stores like Madewell, Anthropologie, and DryBar. Does it get better than that?!
This past week I was fortunate enough to travel to Portland to experience the Nike World Headquarters. If I could sum it up in one word (okay, two) it would be Disney Land. It was incredible! I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but whatever it was, if you could imagine the coolest people (I mean, they design THE most innovative (and cool) products surrounded by most beautifully landscaped grounds, there you have the Nike campus!
During my two day trip to Portland, the program was focused on Nike Women. I remember my driver saying on the way to the hotel the first night, ‘Nike will have you busy from dawn to dusk,’ and boy was he right! I’m not complaining, though! I am all about fitting in as much as possible and experiencing the most you can.… Continue Reading
A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort. The resort itself is located on a secluded, 2.5 mile beach in Cabo San Lucas. This resort in all-inclusive is catered to adults only, meaning that you won’t find screaming kids around you, especially if you’re looking for relaxing getaway! They have four gourmet restaurants on the property, as well as an incredible spa. In December, they will be debuting a brand-new, ultra-luxe “resort-within-a-resort” expansion called The Towers at Pacifica. It will offer upscale accommodations, a 24-hour butler service, elevated dining experiences, and exclusive access to a new VIP Towers Lounge. We had the opportunity to stay in the new tower before it was completely finished, and the rooms were incredible!… Continue Reading
On our recent vacation to Grand Cayman, we had the pleasure of spending time at Camana Bay. At first glance, it looks like a gorgeous outdoor mall, but it so much more than that. Camana Bay offers a mix of residential, commercial, and public spaces, as well as great shopping, and entertainment. It is located right in the heart of Grand Cayman and very close to Seven Mile Beach.Being the foodies we are, we love the dining options they have available. Not only do they have great restaurants for all different taste buds, including Abacus, Lola, Mizu Asian Bistro + Bar, The Brooklyn Pizza + Pasta, but they also have great culinary options for those of us that are looking for healthier options. We were fortunate to enjoy a delicious meal at Abacus.… Continue Reading

This past week my boyfriend and I stayed at the beautiful The Cape, A Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. I had seen a lot pictures of the hotel and had heard great things about it, but in person, it was incredible. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, it was nothing but amazing!
The staff is all incredible and so welcoming, and the actual grounds itself are gorgeous. My boyfriend became best friends with all the staff members by the end of the trip because they are all so nice and entertaining (shoutout to Sebastion!). The lobby/front desk area is all outdoors overlooking the ocean and infinity pool, which is so cool. The decor is super contemporary and unique, which I loved. The hotel is just over a year old, but it still feels brand new, and they make you feel as if you are the only people staying at the hotel.
Happy Monday, y’all! We have had quite the week this past week, so this week we will be playing a lot of catch up, and trying to get back into the normal routine!
