With fall in full-swing, and Thanksgiving just a couple of days away (can you believe it?!), we wanted to share a quick and easy, but flavorful appetizer that everyone will love! We are all about a healthy dish that you can feel good about eating, especially if you’re like us, and can finish an entire dish by yourself;)One of our favorite cuisines is Mexican food. We LOVE guacamole and salsa on pretty much anything! We didn’t realize how easy it is to actually make guacamole until we tried this one out.… Continue Reading
Happy Labor Day Weekend! Hope you all are up to something fun or relaxing this weekend. Our parents are coming into town on Sunday for a few days, so we are SO excited! Family time is the best!
I made this crumble cheesecake a while back, but totally forgot to share it with you all somehow, so I thought this would be perfect to share with you all this holiday weekend!
The crust is made from coconut flour and protein powder, so it is gluten free, grain free, and packed with protein powder.
I don’t think we are alone when I say that we have crazy buys mornings. I used to skip breakfast all together when I was in high school and college because I either wasn’t hungry or I just didn’t think I had time to make something. Now, it is my favorite meal of the day. I seriously look forward to it!
For breakfast, and pretty much every meal, I try to choose products that are easy and convenient, but also made with real ingredients. I also try to choose products that have a high amount of protein in them. These new Jimmy Dead Delights Frittatas are a great breakfast option and require almost no preparation, so they’re perfect for on-the-go meals when you’re short on time, or if you want something quick and easy!… Continue Reading
I have received compensation from Collective Bias, Inc. and Pure Protein. All opinions are mine alone. #KeepOnTrack #CollectiveBiasOne of my favorite things to do when I am stressed or just craving something sweet (which is always), is to bake! One of the main components I always make sure I have in all of my recipes is protein. I will usually eat these Pure Protein Plus Bars on their own, but this time, I decided to switch it up and bake them into the actual chocolate loaf. I know, such a game changer!
Nothing is better than a fluffy, moist loaf that not only tastes amazing, but is also loaded with protein! Each bite of the loaf has chunks of cookies n cream pieces (YUM) and has the perfect amount of sweetness and richness, but also a crunch from the bar chunks!
Happy Saturday, y’all! We baked up these chocolate marshmallow bars last weekend, and not gonna lie, we totally finished them in less than 24 hours. I could definitely go for some right now! As you all may have seen, we are spending the weekend in Austin at the JW Marriott. We have been having the best time, so be sure to follow along on our snapchats! Not only are these bars loaded with chocolate (yum!) and yummy marshmallows, they are also packed with protein AND collagen.
I honestly had NO idea what collagen even was or why it was good for you until I tried this Vital Proteins Marine Collagen. There are TONS of health benefits that I didn’t even know about. It is vital for our body and is the basic building block of skin, hair, and nails.
Something about crumbles just immediately makes me think of July 4th. They remind me of summer barbecues and time outside, which is my favorite! This recipe I actually made FOREVER ago, but never had a chance to share it, but I thought since July 4th is this weekend, what better time to finally share it?
These crumble bars are made with just a few simple ingredients, making them gluten free, grain free, and even dairy free!
The berry topping is made from a homemade chia jam which is loaded with fiber, natural sugars, and a great superfood, chia seeds!
These bars are great on their own, but would also be delicious with some cold vanilla coconut milk ice cream on top!The crust and crumble are made from our favorite base: coconut flour and vanilla protein powder.
If there is one thing I ALWAYS tell people, especially my parents, is that you gotta get protein in! I will be the first to say, I usually don’t drink protein shakes regularly. I am kind of weird (no shock there) in the sense that I would rather eat something, rather than drink it! I usually don’t go for shakes, juices, etc. I would rather have something to chew on, haha.Sometimes I do love a chocolate milkshake once in a while, but most of the time, I love something sweet to snack on. One of my favorite ways to bake is with protein powder! I know it sounds crazy, but it really turns out so fluffy and moist.
For these chocolate raspberry cheesecake bars, I used Vega’s Clean Protein in the chocolate flavor.

Can you all believe it is almost Memorial Day? May is flying by! Of course, Memorial Day to us revolves around lots of pool time, sunshine, and a barbecue. We are sharing this fresh and light salad that would be perfect for your Memorial Day barbecue, or just for an everyday salad paired with grilled chicken or shrimp! We love shopping at Sam’s Club for all of our produce and healthy ingredients. We buy all of our vegetables and fruit there and love that we can get it all in bulk. I am not kidding you when I tell you that we go through all of that produce in about one week between the two of us!… Continue Reading
We are at home in El Paso for the week visiting our parents, and of course, that means lots of baking! We have only been here one day so far, and I have already baked two desserts! I am sure I will be baking more the rest of the week, but I wanted to share this super fluffy loaf I made yesterday. I literally just grabbed a few things and threw it together, but it tasted SO good.
I am not joking, I made it in the morning, and by 4 PM it was gone. I had a little help from my dad and sister finishing it, but we all couldn’t stop eating it. There is something about peanut butter that is just so addicting, you know what I mean? Luckily, this loaf is gluten free and made from a base of coconut flour and peanut butter protein powder, so it’s lower in carbs, and high in protein!… Continue Reading
