We are finally in the summer months, and that means all of us will be showing more skin. With that comes anxiety for some of us because maybe your legs aren't as toned as you want them to be, and that is totally okay because we have some tips for you! Obviously, you can't get them exactly how you want them overnight because like anything else, it takes time and discipline, but I will say that it is worth it!
Summer is HERE! That means everyone across the country is hanging out at the best patios! For us in Dallas, we are pretty much able to enjoy patio weather year-round. One of our favorite things to do in the summer is hang out on a patio with a refreshing cocktail or yummy appetizer. There is nothing better than great weather, your good friends and family, and some good food.
Before we get into the main topic of this blog, we wanted to talk about this easy, summer look! When it hits the 90's in Dallas, we basically want to live in minimal clothing, as weird as that sounds, haha. This black cami is loose and flowy, and comes in a few other colors! We paired with these denim cutoffs that we seriously live in. They are AMAZING! Now, about the accessories: this saddlebag is what we brought to Napa and SF, and it fit SO much in it. These lace up sandals are a great neutral shoe, and a good heel height because they are not too hight or not too short!Okay, and now about our main topic: staying positive. It is probably one of the most difficult things to do. I (Alexis), for one, struggle with being positive way too often. I would say Samantha is better at being positive, and I am usually the one who is more likely to get impatient or judgmental. If a lot of stuff goes wrong in my day, I am just left with this "feeling sorry for myself" feeling, and am pouting the rest of the day. That is probably a little bit of an exaggeration, but it is so true, haha.
Happy Memorial Day! We hope you all are having the best holiday weekend. We just got back into Dallas super early this morning, so after we get unpacked and all of that, we are headed to see our parents, who just moved closer to us! YAY! We cannot tell you how excited we are. We have been waiting for this moment for eight years. Anyways, with summer being here now, we wanted to share some of our favorite restaurants we have tried recently, or are wanting to try soon! If you all are not from Dallas, we want to share different cuisines that we think are fun to try! First things first, I have to talk about this Memorial Day-inspired outfit! This lace top is perfect with these denim shorts, but it would also be adorable with some white jeans. I love how it looks with these strappy sandals, and this floppy hat. It dresses up a casual look, and accessorizes it perfectly!
