Our Stay at Breathless Cabo Resort + Spa | adoubledose.com

We are SO excited to share our stay at Breathless Cabo Resort + Spa. We had the MOST incredible experience there. From the moment we were picked up from the Cabo airport by our hilarious driver who greeted us with beer, to the moment we left the resort, our time was nothing short of amazing. We seriously had THE best time, and we hope that is reflected in our pictures and videos. Be sure to check out our vlog (we apologize for the newbie editing; this is our first one!) to see all the behind the scenes, and highlights of our trip!

Our Stay At The South Congress Hotel

Our Stay at The South Congress Hotel | adoubledose.com

This past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the South Congress Hotel. It is a boutique hotel located in one of our favorite parts of Austin, South Congress. What we love about Austin, especially South Congress, is that there are a ton of restaurants, shopping, and bars, all very walkable! Our Stay at The South Congress Hotel | adoubledose.com

We used to eat and walk around this street all of the time when we went to school in Austin, HOOK 'EM, so it is always fun to be back! This hotel was actually not even around when we were in school, and was just built a couple of years ago. We hadn't been back in this area since we moved to Dallas, and we honestly fell in love with it. It is super close to so many great spots, including one of our favorites, Magnolia Cafe. There is also a Torchy's Taco very close by, as well as a ton of other restaurants. You could easily get around this area without access to car, which is great if you're visiting from out of town. We also walked to get fajitas from Polvo's, a green juice at The Soup Peddler, and gelato at Dolce Neve (all about a 10 minute walk!)

We had a great response on our post styling pieces a few different ways a while back in this post, so we wanted to do another one for y’all! This grey sweater is probably one of our most worn pieces, and most “liked” by y’all, so had to include it in this post! It is under $40, super soft, and goes with everything! The v-neck is also super flattering on anyone.

We styled it a few different ways to show y’all that you can wear it any season, and so many different ways! Also, you’re definitely not limited to just the way we styled them here by any means. You could wear it with white jeans and denim cutoffs, etc.,which we didn’t show here!

Our Scottsdale Recommendations | adoubledose.comA few of y’all wanted to know some of our recommendations for Scottsdale as far as restaurants and activities. We honestly didn’t get to do that much besides workout, hike, eat, and eat some more;) BUT, we did have some GREAT food!

We didn’t include every single thing we ate, but we did share them on snapchat/insta-stories, in case y’all got to see it! In case you didn’t see the post from Friday, we stayed at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. More details on our stay in this post!

WHERE TO EAT:

see pictures below!

  • Breakfast Kitchen Bar
  • True Food Kitchen
  • Pita Jungle
  • Deseo (in our hotel)
  • Shake Shack (bunless burger)
  • The Greenhouse

WHAT TO DO:Our Scottsdale Recommendations | adoubledose.com

  • Camelback Mountain:

As far as activities, we went to Camelback Mountain and hiked the less rock-climbing side (the Cholla trail). It was still a really good workout, but not like rock climbing, like the Echo side. We would definitely recommend it! We actually ended up walking another 45 minutes afterwards to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall to walk around and eat something! We were STARVING, per usual;)

The Westin Kierland Resort + Spa

Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.comThis past week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the incredible weather, gorgeous resort grounds, and incredible food, we had an amazing time while we were there. Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.comIt is only about a two-and-a half-hour flight from Dallas, and just a quick 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. We used Uber, and it was super easy and quick! What 1we loved the most was that they are a quick walk to the Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, which has tons of restaurants and shopping, which we definitely took advantage of. We ate restaurants like True Foods Kitchen, Breakfast Kitchen (their pancakes are AMAZING), and stores like Madewell, Anthropologie, and DryBar. Does it get better than that?!     Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.com

The resort itself has over 730 rooms, including 55 suites. We loved that the resort highlights Arizona’s colors and textures throughout the grounds. The room was very spacious, and had the comfiest beds. They even left a chocolate and some lavender essential oils every evening to get in some relaxation before bedtime. Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.com Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.comOf course, one of the most important parts of any hotel to us is the gym. They have a 24-hour fitness studio equipped with treadmills, bikes, free weights, cable machines, and weight , machines. They also offer New Balance Gear Lending (you can rent tennis shoes and workout gear!). They also offer daily fitness classes, including yoga, and have two tennis courts. While this is not part of the hotel, we did get some suggestions from the super helpful concierge there on hiking Camelback. We opted to hike the Cholla side, which is still moderately intense (less crazy than the Echo side, which is a lot of rock-climbing). It took us about 2-3 hours (of course, it included a TON of pics and yoga poses, duh!), and we really did have a lot of fun doing it. The climb up was definitely easier than the climb down. There were a few close calls when it came to falling right on our faces, haha! Our Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.comOur Stay at the Westin Kierland Resort + Spa | adoubledose.com

Gift Guide: #Girlboss

{ Leather Organizer | Acrylic Stapler | Gold “Girl Boss” Zip Pouch | Earbuds + Charger | Fun Pens | Fossil Touchscreen Watch | Olive Rockstud Tote | “I am Very Busy” Planner | Glitter Business Card Holder | Marble Laptop Case | Marble Luggage }

We thought we’d share a gift guide for all the girl bosses in your life, or yourself! These gift ideas can also be used for someone who travels a lot for work! We are always on-the-go, so these are all of our must-haves! Here’s why we love one of these pieces:

  • This olive tote is great for traveling, or just an everyday bag! The leather is super soft, and buttery, and has the cutest studs on the sides! I love that it can fit a laptop and bunch of other stuff in there if you need to run some errands and get some work done at a coffee shop or something! It is also a great work bag!
  • OBSESSED with all things marble, so my sister and I both love this marble laptop cover, and have this marble suitcase on our wish list! SO cute, right?!
  • Business cards are a must, even though I am terrible about carrying mine with me! This glitter business card holder is a great reminder to take them, and you can just throw it in your bag to store them all!
  • I just ordered this planner! First off, it is is super cute, but I used to be one of those people that was like, “I don’t even need to write stuff down, I got it all”! Until, I had a breakdown because I felt SO overwhelmed, so I think writing stuff down to remember all the of calls, emails, and places I need to be is SUPER helpful! And, who doesn’t like getting to cross completed tasks off their lists, right?
  • This leather organizer looks AMAZING! I am all about being super organized, so I love that this lets you fit all your tech accessories in all nice and organized!

Nike World Headquarters

Nike World Headquarters | adoubledose.comThis past week I was fortunate enough to travel to Portland to experience the Nike World Headquarters. If I could sum it up in one word (okay, two) it would be Disney Land. It was incredible! I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but whatever it was, if you could imagine the coolest people (I mean, they design THE most innovative (and cool) products surrounded by most beautifully landscaped grounds, there you have the Nike campus!

During my two day trip to Portland, the program was focused on Nike Women. I remember my driver saying on the way to the hotel the first night, ‘Nike will have you busy from dawn to dusk,’ and boy was he right! I’m not complaining, though! I am all about fitting in as much as possible and experiencing the most you can. On the first day,  there was an optional yoga class taught by the talented Krissy Jones bright and early (6:30 A.M.)—luckily, Portland is within the Pacific time zone, so it didn’t feel too early! After yoga, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our big day ahead!
